Wooden Architecture Route

We encourage you to see wonderful treasurs of wooden architecture. Whole route is composed of more than 250 historic buildings: churches, bell-towers, manors. Four of them figure on UNESCO World Heritage List.

You will have an opportunity to visit the magnificent open air Etnographic Wygiezłów Museum where you will discover our regional traditions as well as Lanckorona – a little village situated about 30 kilometers away from Krakow, full of original, picturesque wooden residencial buildings. You will also see three beautiful constructions: The 15th century Parish Church of St. Andrew in Graboszyce, The Parish Church of Metkow and The Parish Church of St. Erasmus in Barwałd Dolny. At the end, you will go to Kalwaria Zebrzyowska – one of the most importants regional places of religious cult, where you will admire exemples of rennaisance and baroque architecture. It is possible to make dinner break during the tour. We provide you the professional private guide and private driver.
